BOUNDARY - Create a field zone.

Creating Field Zones
(Field where original boundary is saved but orders can be created for part of field, both parts of field or for whole field depending on selection.)



Step by Step Instructions.
1. Right click on field name and select add zone.
2. When zone popup box appears in center of map, add zone name. Click New Item to add another line so two zone names can be added.
3. Once zone names are added, click save.
4. Two zones should be displaying underneath the field in the customer tree as well as the MASTER.
5. Right click on the master of the field & select Copy Boundary.
6. Copy boundary popup box will appear in middle of map. The top box is the source (MASTER). The bottom is the destination or where you want to copy the boundary to.
7. Drag the 1st zone into destination boundary box & click copy.
8. Drag the 1st zone to table below map. This will display zone on map.
9. Go to boundary tools and click on split boundary (or right click on map & select Split Boundary)
10. Click outside the polygon on one side and drag across boundary where you want the split to display.
11. Once split line is where you want, double click on opposite side to end split. A split line should appear on boundary. Split line can be adjusted if desired.
12. Go to blue disk icon in tool bar and save edits
13. Right click on field zone with boundary that is split. Choose copy boundary.
14. Copy boundary popup box will appear in middle of map. The top box is the source (zone just created). The
bottom is the destination or where you want to copy the boundary to.
15. Click copy. Now both zones have a duplicate of field boundary
16. Drag just the 1st zone to the table below map. This will display zone on map.
17. Right click on map & select Delete Boundary. Click on portion of the boundary you want to delete & save edits.
18. Do the same with the other zone only delete opposite portion of boundary & save edits
19. You should now have a MASTER field and two zones that make up MASTER field
